Our little Gilbert is now a spirit dog. He crossed over February 26, 2005. We adopted Gilbert and his dad, Bogie, from Whippet Rescue in 1998. Bogie crossed over July 10, 2004. Now Gilbert is with his dad and all of our other spirit  dogs. They are still with us though in a different form, when we close our eyes and touch our hearts...we see them clearly.


Thanks to the dog gods & saints for sending Xena in December 2004. She came to us disguised as a foster dog but, Gilbert, and Bridey knew she would become a permanent family member. She's now Bridey's brindle buddy.
